The Palmer law firm, now known as Palmer & Jones, was founded by Clark M. Palmer, a graduate of Stanford University, in 1951, when he joined the late Judge Faulkner in the small town of Novato, California. Setting up a general civil practice, the firm has grown with the town, and later city, of Novato, serving the general business, real estate, commercial, estate planning, probate, family law, and other civil law needs of clients from the Novato, Marin County, and North Bay areas. Currently the firm handles a diverse spectrum of practice areas, such that it is indeed a full service law firm. Bruce M. Palmer, also a graduate of Stanford University and of Hastings College of the Law, joined the firm in 1976. David Price Jones, a U.C. Berkeley and Boalt Hall graduate, joined the firm in 1981.
